Sheriff Jamie Callaway is a full-time, working Sheriff. Sheriff Callaway took office January 1, 2025. We are a full-service law enforcement agency that is honored to serve the men and women of Elbert County.

The Elbert County Sheriff’s Office exists to protect life, property, maintain peace and order, and to provide law enforcement services. We also place a high value on public safety, awareness and crime prevention.
